Blink-182 Posted June 25, 2007 Share Posted June 25, 2007 When I put any disc in my computer, it closes for a few seconds and re-opens. This is a used computer from my dads work. Is there any settings that could be turned off or something that is causing this? oops1644 Posted June 27, 2007 Share Posted June 27, 2007 Usually a cd tray will only close then open like that when theres something preventing it from closing all the way. make sure the cd is sitting flat in the tray and theres no debris in the drive (like rocks, marbles or anything bigger than dust but can fit into the drive). if theres nothing in the drive than look into replacing the drive.
