June 25, 200719 yr When I put any disc in my computer, it closes for a few seconds and re-opens. This is a used computer from my dads work. Is there any settings that could be turned off or something that is causing this? If you know what the problem is that would be great if you could tell me!!... blink-182

June 27, 200719 yr Usually a cd tray will only close then open like that when theres something preventing it from closing all the way. make sure the cd is sitting flat in the tray and theres no debris in the drive (like rocks, marbles or anything bigger than dust but can fit into the drive). if theres nothing in the drive than look into replacing the drive. Never argue with an idiot - it only drags you down to there level, where he then beats you with experience.completed Underground Pass at level 52!
