What happened?

Well, this all started a couple of years ago in Runescape Classic. I was just minding my own business in Lumby when this stranger started talking to me. One thing lead to another, and he said, "Wanna see something really cool?". Not one to turn that down I said "Sure!". A few moments later, I was suprised to see a Skelly appear right in front of the castle!! :-s It killed a level 3 player and was finally slain by a level 20-er. How did that guy do that?? He said he and one of his friends were the only ones who knew how to do the "trick" and that he "manipulated" something to make the Skelly appear. But How??

well, the only way that could happen is by bug abuse or a glitch in the system, unless they somehow hacked the game, in which they would most likely get banned. But... I would stay away from Lumbridge if you are a lv 3 for now :uhh:

Nah, it's not hacking, not even bug abuse, just a feature of the old Restless Ghost quest.

It used to be back in RSC a long time ago, unless I'm mistaken, that the quest had a part where you pick up a skull spawning somewhere in the ghost's house. When you did, a skeleton spawned and attacked you.

Some people kept the skull, and when they dropped and re-picked it (provided they didn't finish the quest), the skeleton spawned and attacked the person, and if the person ran away, it attacked the nearest player in sight.

The bug was fixed shortly after it was found.

Live free or die. First option is exhausted, so guess what remains?
