Believe it or not, pretty much all farming exp I got from level 1 to level 40 was reward for quests. I don't like farming, but I need at least 45 for quests. What is the quickest way to get it? I'm willing to spend a large (as long as its reasonable and not stupid) amount of money to powerlevel. And of course I don't care about profit, I just want to get the level and get over it.

Im not the best one to give advice, since i dont train farming, but trees give massive xp, so if you plant a few over a couple days you can get massive amounts of xp, also strawberrie seeds are great for leveling aswell.

Profiting way/Or extra herbalore experience

 

 

 

Buy yourself a lot of toadflax seeds. You're going to need a lot to level.

 

(around a 100 or so, I say a lot because you'll be waiting 40 hours for 150 to grow which you should buy since some may die )

 

Afterwards you'll have about 6.5 herbs for each seed you bought. These can either go towards your herbalore level or you can sell it to some person hungry from herbalore experience

 

 

 

Faster way /w less profit

 

 

 

Buy yourself 100 or so strawberry seeds, and 10-20 toadflax seeds. Get yourself some teleport runes, and follow a farming patch somewhere. This will obvisouly get you your level faster but at an increase in price ( Strawberry seeds are 1k each)

 

 

 

Fastest way /w no or spending money

 

 

 

Buy yourself 5 willow seeds and 4 orange seeds. Buy 10-20 toadflax seeds and plant those while you await the trees to grow. You might need to buy a couple more herb seeds. Toadflax seeds can be bought for around 500-2k each, willow seeds can be bought for 5-10k each, and orange trees can be bought for 5-7k each.

 

 

 

You can also buy strawberry seeds and run around teleporting with those, but within one day you should be 45 farming, or 44 with a little experience needed.

If you want to spend the least possible time on farming, but don't mind waiting for a few days before you achieve your goal, go with trees and fruit trees. Be sure to use garden pie wich boosts your farming by 3 points. (For example, with pie, you can plant curry trees , which give better xp then orange trees). Plant willows in normal tree patches, and switch to maples after you achieve 42 (plant maples with the pie again).

 

 

 

But if you want to speed up the process, combine trees with planting allotment crops and bushes.

To make a profit:

 

 

 

buy ranarr seeds 25-27K ea, grow them and make prayer pots for maximal profit. In edgeville you can sell the pots for 8-10K each, and if you use supercompost, you always get 3+ herbs.

 

 

 

Power levelling: willow trees. Pay a farmer 1 basket of apples, and according to Tip.it you need 17 willows. There are 5 tree patches, so you could do it in 4 days. Faster if you were to include fruit trees.
