Does anyone here use Pitchfork? If you don't, just google it and you'll understand it. But I was just wondering if anyone thought that some of their reviews were rather pretentious and more less they simply flaunted their writing abilities?

Yea, sometimes I read them. Most of the time I skip it though. Too pretentious. Their yearlists are interesting to have a look at though.

What do you want us to say by the way?

I was just wondering if people agreed with most of their reviews. Like for some artists, especially electronic, they give lower reviews than they should and that's one of the main reasons I think they're pretentious as hell. It also seems like every indie artist, especially Pavement, they give 9's and above.
