Well after spending over 14M on Chins and then dying with about 10M stuff on I need to start looking at using Cheaper Bolts That Are Still Effective at Monster Killing.

 

 

 

Last night I ws using Mithril Bolts at Mithril Dragons at the safespot, and the 3 mithril bars they dropped combined with the pick-up rate of the accumulator always made me able to make more than I was using. But now that the safespot is gone I need to start looking at new monsters which can support my expensive lifestyle.

 

 

 

Any suggestions?

 

 

 

BTW I'm 90 Range, 45 defence, 44 prayer, 80 magic.

I am not an expert at what bolt for what, but i will give you a tip given by Mod Maz (their developer)

 

 

 

Thin about the monster, watery attacks will not be effective against watery monsters.

 

 

 

 

 

So in this case a firy attack would nto be great against a firery monster. I would recomend useing a bolt that is water related (see enchantent runes)

heres what i would do.

 

 

 

buying 100k iron bolts for 2.2m and goo kill blue blk or mith dragons and sell hides or tan and alch and youll make a profit.

Seems like a good method. May I ask how easy it is to find a seller with such large quantities?

you could try killing steel/iron dragons with them. I'm 100% sure you'l make a profit

i ususally make most of mine but you can buy 10k or so at a time in fally w2

It's too bad that bolts are so expensive now that they've made them stronger.

I just kill druids or smith/flech my own mithril bolts. They are pretty strong.

Yep with adament arrows I hit like a 16 max but for the same price I can buy mithril bolts with which I can hit a 24.

 

 

 

Hit a 31 last night with enchanted diamond bolts on a mithril dragon.

 

 

 

And a 50 with enchanted ruby bolts on a mithril dragon.

 

 

 

I really like cross bolts now, reflect my range level a lot more.
