Ratio is not really the only thing to consider when trying to find a training monster. That doesn't tell you anything about respawn times, availability, or overhunting. All you really need is a lot of fast respawning lower level monsters. The first and second levels of the SoS have exactly that. That way you can be killing non-stop for hours at a time with very little downtime for respawns or healing food. But yeah, the Experiments do have a great ratio.
