I Have made a page like this before, but this one will be much more orginized. With this post, I hope to show you what is going on in the world around you. Talking about Sudan: I would like to see a end the ongoing genocide in Darfur, Sudan. A basical overview of The Save Darfur Coalition's mission: The Save Darfur Coalition's mission is to raise public awareness about the ongoing genocide in Darfur and to mobilize a unified response to the atrocities that threaten the lives of two million people in the Darfur region. An alliance of more than 180 faith-based, advocacy and humanitarian organizations, the coalition's member organizations represent 130 million people of all ages, races, religions and political affiliations united together to help the people of Darfur. Learn more about the genocide and the Save Darfur Coalition's efforts to stop it by visiting http://www.savedarfur.org. Join the facebook group to stay informed about current happenings in the Sudan, on Capitol Hill, and here at the SDC offices. The group page will be updated regularly with news, events, and opportunities to get involved in the cause. What we would like to see done: Deploy the agreed-upon hybrid AU-UN peacekeeping force now.
