A basical overview of The Save Darfur Coalition's mission: The Save Darfur Coalition's mission is to raise public awareness about the ongoing genocide in Darfur and to mobilize a unified response to the atrocities that threaten the lives of two million people in the Darfur region. An alliance of more than 180 faith-based, advocacy and humanitarian organizations, the coalition's member organizations represent 130 million people of all ages, races, religions and political affiliations united together to help the people of Darfur.

What we would like to see done: Deploy the agreed-upon hybrid AU-UN peacekeeping force now.

 

Enact a no-fly zone in Darfur.

 

Enforce existing international sanctions against the government of Sudan.

A little bit of Background: This war has been going on for about 20 years. The history is a bit hard to explain, so Please watch the video I will post later on.
