Isn't there a program I could use to record the song when it's being played and then make it into a file that I could send out or listen to? Riva Free FLV Encoder works wonders, just change the output file extension to .mp3.

July 6, 200719 yr It was to both of you, really. You can use http://www.youtubex.com to download the flash videos (.flv) from YouTube, then Riva FLV Encoder to convert them to mp3s. This won't magically improve the quality, though. You can use Tunatic (a very neat application indeed) to identify tracks as you play them.
July 6, 200719 yr Author Thanks! That helped...BUT...After I encode it and stuff the encoder thing only 'encodes' it up to only 33 seconds... the vids 8:20 long =S.
