MrBowser
I got a treasure trail clue a long time ago, (lv 3), but after the first part, I had a co-ordinate, that would lead me deep into the wildy. So I ignored it. Now, I would like to finish it, but first I would like to know how many steps are clue scrolls, usualy? Also, What should I bring into the wilderness? Can I expect that on the second part of the scroll, I will get the reward? That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gemof innocence inside of you that makes you wantto believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end.--Lise Hand
AgentBlond
I finished a lvl 3 trail just a couple days ago, with 5 clues in the trail. I had to fight lvl 108 Uri twice and lvl 108 Saradominist Wizard once. For all my hard work, I got some rune crap, a few lobs, and a few laws. bummer. If you get lvl 3 coordinate clue that leads you into the wilderness, you'll have to fight a Zamorakian Mage (lvl 84? not sure...) who uses Flames of Zamorak and is a total N00b to kill with melee, as long as you have Protect from Mage prayer on. Bring your watch, sextant, and chart, a spade, a decent weapon (dds should work fine), and plenty of food if you dont have 37 prayer. Keep an eye on the minimap. if you see a white dot, LOG OUT, because you WON'T keep your clue if you die!! also, it's not a bad idea to bring runes to teleport the hell outta there, once you get your stuff. just dig in the exact spot, kill the mage who appears, dig in the same spot again, and GET OUT. Also, if you get a casket, don't open it till you're out of the wilderness, because you've got a better chance of keeping it than a clue. a few more hints that might help: if you get another coordinate that leads you outside of the wilderness, you'll have to fight the Saradominist Mage, lvl 108, who melees with ddp if you have mage protect on, mages with Saradomin Strike if you have Melee protect on, and variates between the two if you don't pray. Just turn on Mage protect, bring some good food, and melee him if you have to fight him. for coordinate clues, you MUST bring your watch, sextant, and chart with you when you dig, as well as your clue, or else he won't appear, and you wont be able to get your stuff, even if you ding in the exact spot. I know this has gotten really long, but if you need more help, or if you get stuck on a clue, check out Tip.It's extensive guide on Trails, on the left menu bar on the homepage. That should answer every question you can think of. Hope I've helped! JamesBlond09: banned, 7-14-

twr_phr33k
When you dig up a coordinate clue in the wilderness a Zamorak Mage will appear. Kill him and dig the same spot again, then you will receive the chest.
