It took me hours to make the symbol due to the fact that I was making a vector style using the ellipse and distort tools.

Any tips on vector art, btw? (C/C!)

well i like it :D

ive tried making symbols and logos b4 they never look any good :(

Quite nice for vector art i use a program called freehand from macromedia. Which if you are interested in vector art would be a good one to try if you havnt already. I find it alot more simple and easier for me to use than adobes equivlent. I used both alot doing my degree but freehand was my personal choice. If your on a fast connection id suggest tryin the free dl anyway .

Very nice man :) I like the simplicity, and the usage of the symbol and corner borders work well together. The text is alright, but maybe consider fading the lines in between them on one end (or both possibly)? Much better than those grunges i was throwin out for u ;p

And thanks for the comments! I love the feedback. I am going to try the dual fade right now.

try to make the lines/border/text the same color is teh symbol, i think that'd look alot better

do sumthing with the white bg it looks sorta plain to me

i kinda like the white, makes it nice and clean ;p another suggestion, tie in the color of the symbol with some of the text, your name maybe? (why u never on aim nemore -.-)

i tink that pretty good but i tink you should change the white too, and do something about that corner line thingy keep it up

not bad, nice and simplistic but the corners don't fit too well IMO :)
