recently started working on this piece i titled nostalgia based on Armor For Sleep's latest album What To Do When You Are Dead. so yea this is a WIP, and i need some ideas/thoughts on what to add to what i have so far. more abstract vector shapes? or i was thinking maybe adding a burst from behind the man and doing some brushing out to the left? (i really want to incorporate some brushing into this, but its not exactly my strongest point :? so tips on how to go about it would be appreciated) well, thanks for taking a peek, ANY C/C would be great :lol: heres what i have atm (btw which ones better?):

mmm i think it looks great. just got back to the forums myself and it's nice to see theres still talent going around :) i actually was looking forward to taking a look into that walkthrough heh, but oh well maybe you can help me out im a bit rusty. i started doing vector awhile back before i kinda stopped glancing at the forums but i got a bit into it (like my sig) but ya, nice work.

i like it, but as for the border, it might be better just to have a 1 px around the edge not inside the image itself... anyways its original, nice and clean :D

i'm sure you can get more than that... i mean they are nice drawings perhaps work with them in ps a bit, they are a bit too zoomed in if you know what i mean but yea you can definately work with it :)

not bad, nice and simplistic but the corners don't fit too well IMO :)

well on the bright side the bg render is nice though :)

The right side seems a bit empty, left side looks great but the planets and such on the right seem to distort the whole concept of the sky... i don't know just doesn't seem to fit...

might want to try some different fonts... some pixel fonts are always good (IMO :wink: ) but anyways check out http://www.dafont.com

Might have to decrease the amount of frames but the animation quality will decrease too :?

Everyone starts somewhere and besides once he gets more practice i'm sure he'll take more time and he'll try harder 8)

My new signature, inspired by Incubus the ACLOTM album and ryan's sig (velvet revolver) by FrothKahn (Hope you don't mind its pretty much based off your idea :?) ... rate/CC if you don't mind :wink: i'm planning on adding some animation to it the text "The_Murder" it would essentially say "A_Crow...Left_Of... The_Murder." The crow silhouette was referenced from a real image. I plan on doing some more vectors in the future i seem to like it better than brushing, renderings etc. :: Swifty

I don't know much about terragen but from what i've seen others do... that looks great :)

Rate my new sig - C/C if you don't mind :wink: It's been awhile since i've made a sig so i thought it was time for a new one.... i did the bg-render in Bryce and i threw in a little vector in ps. i'm currently working on another sig but it's based entirely on vector - i'll post it when i'm done. :: Swifty
