P2P Bots?

Recently, being the flax picker I am, I have noticed a rise in the amount of bots in the flax fields on any world, which brings me to one question: Why spend $5 for a game you will get banned from quickly anyways? It isn't logical and it would be cheaper to illegally buy items. But the same bot I saw a few days ago is still going. Why? Cause JaGex is money-hungry and don't care about macros as long as they are paying (my theory at least). Discuss.
