Ok, it may look a bit weird but I quite like it. The bevel and emboss was just to get the feel of light coming from the sun. The inner shadows are meant to emphasise the sun as well.

Looks ok, its original and inventive.... but as a background for something else.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is no central point in there that really gives someone something to look at. The fire is something but I'd think more of a human figure in the middle, in the same design as the rest of course.

I like it! 7/10. Your style is a bit unusual, but that's a good thing. I'm getting tired of the same thing being done to death. :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I do agree that it seems a bit empty in the centre. I'm not really sure what to suggest, maybe someone chopping wood, fletching, or doing another RS activity...

Ah well that complicates things. I'm guessing that the time frame your sig would be set in would be the middle ages (based on the way the house looks) so perhaps you could incorporate some elements of that time period into it...
