Power Mining to 99

Featured Replies

Hello I am currently level 73 mining and I am looking to get to 99 mining.

I was wondering where the best place to do this is at. Just looking for XP so it doesn't matter what I mine.

Thanks | Reckless1o1

Stating whether you were F2P or P2P would help.

I suggest you go here:

Here you can power-mine Granite, which gives on average, 70,000 EXP per hour.

You need to take Waterskins, as that area is under the desert effect. So, take Waterskins (4) and a Glory Amulet (To teleport back to Al Kharid). Then leave 3 spots left for you to power-mine.

Thanks I will try that, too bad it is under desert effect now :(

You could try Mining Iron in Al-kharid mine.

Theres three spots.

In a really busy world, the ores respawn quite quickly so you can mine 3, drop 3, etc.

Mining gems in shilo with karamja gloves 3 and glory to bank is nice too.

Or mine granite, humidify from lunar magic also works on the waterskins might save you some trouble.

Problems with gems are slow xp. And needing/wanting to bank all the time.

Power-mining i'd say use Iron or Granite still.

Be sure to use the two ore method :D. The three drop thing is a lot slower.

There is the mining spot to the south east of verrock, there are 4 rocks with iron if you go into a members world with few people, it shouldnt be crouded. I can usually find a world were there is nobody but me mining in the whole mining site. They respawn fast and give 35 exp. per ore. If you decide to bank them, you can sell in falador for 100 a peice somtimes on a non members world

Banking ores, imho, defeats the purpose of powermining.
