  1. The hunter areas for Red Chinchompas are really crowded, and with 2-3 people on each Server, the EXP rate per hour is awful, especially what it is compared to what it can be when you're on your own or with someone with a low/similar Hunting level to you. To be perfectly honest, that's another thing they could update. There's only a few Rune Rocks, but then again, so little people have 85 Mining in proportion to 63 Hunter. Thank you for your reply, most appreciated.
  2. In Feldip Hills, where the Red Chinchompas roam, there are little areas for so many Hunters to hunt. 3 areas in fact. There's 1 specific Red Chinchompa area which gives the most EXP hour, and is the most productive spot. The other two give 100 Chinchompas per hour or so, whereas the 1 key spot gives 200-300 an hour from Level 80-99. The problem is, is the fact that in each Sever (World), there is always 2-3 people hunting in the Red Chinchompa area. What will solve this is for Jagex to add 2-3 more Red Chinchompa areas around Feldip Hills, which would be as productive as the main one. This would make sure each World/Area is less crowded and beneficial for every Hunter who decides to hunt Red Chinchompas for EXP. The market is out there for Red Chinchompas, it's quite clear. Each day on the official RuneScape Forums, there is always at least 20+ people buying huge quantities, so it's doing wonders for the Economy. Here is the main Red Chinchompa area for those who aren't familiar (Area circled in red): Thank you reading this, and I hope you will agree. - Honoured
  3. I'm a Defence Pure/Skiller. The reason I level Defence is because it's challenging, good achievement to have 60 Defence at Level 27 Combat. Also, it'll allow me to do Quests easier than the Level 3 Skillers. In some cases, I can do some of the Quests which Level 3's can't. Also the reasons the other people have mentioned, too! - Honoured
  4. Have a look at Tip.It's very own Quest Guide to Swan Song: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=138 Out of all the Quests in RuneScape, it's rated Medium (Out of Easy, Medium, Hard) Suggested: Level 23 RuneCrafting for an advantage in the Quest. - Honoured
  5. Most of the time I do - Make 'All', but if I accidentally clicked the option above/below, which may be Make 'X', I would type in 99. No idea why, but it's just really easy. I suppose it works with any number which has the same number twice, like 33, 44, and 55. But not 22. If you're making something which you want to make in your whole inventory which would be 28, you don't want to press 22 :D. - Honoured
  6. Just wear the Skirt, many people wear them, even Males. It brings the same message as 'Real men wear Pink'. That sort of thing, which is quite amusing, in a good way. It brings the same bonuses as the Platelegs, and there's do advantages to the Legs compared to the Skirt. Keep wearing it, and if you make more money in the future, just spend it on Platelegs. But only do that if you truly wish! - Honoured
  7. Interesting. The overall design looks very nice, and I would love to see that placed into an Update in the future. Though, I don't particularly like the Fishing and Agility Icons. Other than that, everything looks great and it's a dramatic improvement. Nice discovery, by the way =D>. - Honoured
  8. I keep my Private Chat to 'Friends', for the simple reason that I only wish to private chat with my friends. If I ever meet someone in RuneScape who as kind, considerate and mature, and we got along, I'd be happy enough to add them! If I kept my Private Chat to 'On', you'd get many unwanted chats with people who you may find irritating for whatever reason, and I just do not need that when trying to make sure my time on RuneScape is an enjoyable and comfortable stay. - Honoured
  9. Veracs and Dharoks bring two different dueling styles, so it's up to you which one you choose. Here's a brief description of the styles when in the Dule Arena: Verac: The set special will ignore Armour, so this is good if you have a high strength and attack level, as you'll hit high damage more accurately. Though the Armour isn't as strong as some of the other Barrow Armours. Verac is good for picking away at your Opponent's Hitpoints quickly without them doing too much damage back. Dharok: The set special will only truly work to it's potential when your Hitpoints are below 10% of the maximum. You'll of course need a high level of strength, and it's very good for the 'KO' in a Duel. A key weakness is that it's quite a slow attack, and if you hit low damage during one hit, your opponent could quickly hit 2 hits which may be a lot higher than yours. I would suggest for you to buy Full Veracs. So use that at the beginning, then once your Opponent is of a low HP, quickly switch to the Dharoks Axe and hopefully it'll 'KO' your opponent. If not, switch back to Veracs to keep on picking away at their Hitpoints. - Honoured
  10. Just work out how many Rock Crabs you can kill in 10 minutes. Multiply that answer by 200, then mutiply that answer by 6. For example: If I kill 40 in 10 minutes, that'll be 8k exp. So, in one hour, that'll be 48k exp per hour! - Honoured
  11. Here's a picture of the layout of McGrubor's Woods: (Image from http://www.runehq.com)
  12. Take a read of this: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=686442 Also, if your friends have set up Clan Channels, you're more than welcome to join theres as well. Just type in their name, and away you go! (That's if they've registered a Channel to their name :D) - Honoured
  13. Probably the lowest level Dog you'll find is a Guard Dog. They're level 44, and you can find them at the following locations: - McGrubor's Wood - Brimhaven Mansion - Mansion in east Ardougne Hope this helps you. Be sure to check the Map to locate these locations! - Honoured
  14. It seems to be World 79 for Nature Running. Also, I've heard it's World 36 for double Nature Runes. - Honoured
  15. Pixels > Friends. This is certainly the attitude that many people in RuneScape adopt whilst playing. You always hear stories where someone has been scammed of vast amounts of money by their "best friend", and you seem to hear it more often nowadays then you may have done in the past. It's a deep shame to see, but you've just got to think twice about who you can trust and who you can't. For me, I probably won't trust anyone I don't know in real life. If you were scammed by someone who you didn't know, you would never have the problem resolve in your favour. - Honoured
  16. No, not at all. A lot of people create Pures, so that they can dominate the Wilderness and become successful from it. With both credibility and also vast amounts of wealth. With people saying with doing such things on their Main Accounts, you simply couldn't do it. For example, if you wanted 70 Attack 99 Strength and 45 Defence. You couldn't possibly achieve that on your Main if your Main had 70 Attack 85 Strength and 85 Defence. So, those are the key reasons why people make Pures. In most cases, it's certainly not about creating them due to boredom. - Honoured
  17. When the update first came out, it took a a while to load the RuneScape Homepage, and then to log onto RuneScape. That's perfectly normal, as it happened to everyone else when I was on IRC. Since then, I've been pretty much lag-free. Which also is normal for me, too. - Honoured
  18. Hang on, why are we discussing about a rival Fansite? It's a deep shame to see, however, as their Signatures were very popular. Ah well. Not much more to say about it. - Honoured
  19. If your giving your fish away, then what difference would it make whether you were at Barbarian Village or Shilo? As long as your at a fly fishing spot, then you can fish the Trout/Salmon, give it away (or drop it), and then repeat the process. - Honoured :.
  20. You need to search the Cupboard, and inside the Cupboard, you'll find Glough's Journal (Diary) :). - Honoured :.
  21. This happens all the time. Some males just tend to play as females, which is perfectly fine, as long as it makes their Gaming experience enjoyable. But I find it awful when males make an Account as a female, just to go around asking male characters for free items, and just to go along with what ever they're saying. Ah well, I suppose you get those sad people around. It's really pathetic. - Honoured :.
  22. Edit: It didn't say that the message was posted, so I posted it again and realised that the post was there already .
  23. I would have to say either Splitbark Gloves or Infinity Gloves are probably the best Gloves you can get, other than the Metal Guantlets. Here are the stats of both Gloves: Splitbark Guantlets: Attack Bonuses: Stab - +0 Slash - +0 Crush - +0 Magic - +2 Range - -1 Defence Bonuses: Stab - +3 Slash - +2 Crush - +4 Magic - +2 Range - +0 Other: Strength - +0 Prayer - +0 Infinity Gloves: Attack Bonuses: Stab - +0 Slash - +0 Crush - +0 Magic - +5 Range - +0 Defence Bonuses: Stab - +0 Slash - +0 Crush - +0 Magic - +5 Range - +0 Other: Strength - +0 Prayer - +0 Hope this helps! - Honoured :.
  24. A mass-ban on Autoers isn't something Jagex want to tell their Customers. Simply because it's not the main content of the Game. Instead, Updates, Knowledge Base, Etc is what Jagex want to tell their Customers. I find that whenever there are many rants on Autoers, then Jagex will remind their Customers on how much progress they're making concerning the campaign of banning Autoers. It's a very nice and interesting find, Aquashock. One that I would like to see more of! - Honoured :.
  25. Yeah, and this is a Thread which is being created 1 day at a time, too :-X. Many people are recruited by an organisation, to play RuneScape (In this case) for a large period of time, to acquire a specific item. Mainly the common materials which a lot of players use to Skill (Logs, Flax, Fish, Essence). So, when large amounts of these examples have been aquired by one person, they are immediately paid for it by the organisation. Usually with real-life currency. This is another alternative to Autoers/Macroers. But it brings the same effect on the Economy. Prices will tend to decrease, and the materials become easier to get hold of. This is ruining RuneScape, for sure, but there isn't much we can do about it. You can't really tell if the typical level 3 autoers are in fact 'Farmers', so I tend to still report anyone suspicious as 'Macroing'. Just keep doing that, and hopefully, it'll make the problem seem slightly more calmer. - Honoured :.
