July 17, 200718 yr Short: my problem is that at least half of my Lost city assignments are bronze dragons. Something I don't want to do for slayer. I recently turned 90 combat, and since then I got bronze dragon assignments like crazy. I dont want to do them, but I get fed up with going to Burthrope, and coming back to Lost City for some other bronze dragons. How can I avoid this? Retired.
July 17, 200718 yr I concur. Bronze dragons are the lame. Either raise your combat or slayer skills, or try a different slayer master.
July 17, 200718 yr Author I concur. Bronze dragons are the lame. Either raise your combat or slayer skills, or try a different slayer master. Kinda hard with only bronze dragons. I want to raise combat using slayer. Retired.
July 17, 200718 yr If you keep getting bronze dragons then you don't really have much of a choice, unless you try a different slayer master.
July 17, 200718 yr use the master in edgeville. I used to get a lot af dragons from chaeldar too, then switched to vanaka in edge. The assigns from him are also good for cannon slaying. Fast slay xp on daggas and kalphites 485 rune full helms banked since 65 slayer99/99 slayer
July 17, 200718 yr The easiest thing to do is just kill them. On small assignments (less than 20) I can kill them all in one trip. They cost maybe 600 gp per dragon slain, far less than every other monster. I usually pot up with all 3, then when my strength falls to 8 above my normal level, repot. (Copied from a post i made elsewhere) Bronze Dragons Bronze Dragons do not have good drops, compared to their brethren. However, when given as a slayer monster, they are profitable nonetheless. Ideal Gear: (High melee defense) Black Mask (almost essential) Torag's Plate > Rune Plate Torag's Legs > Dragon Skirt Abyssal Whip > Dragon Scim/long Rune Boots RFD Gloves Ring of Life (although they are easier than irons or steels, they are still dangerous.) Anti-Fire Shield In Inventory: 3 Anti-Fire pots 2 Super Attack Pots 2 Super Strength Pots 15 good food (Monkfish+) 905 gp WC Axe One-Click teleport high alch runes (optional) The basic strategy for killing these beasts is similar to the strategy for killing iron and steel dragons. Pot up, then start killing them. The important thing is NO prayer is needed.
