I'm hoping to get my construction up a bit by building carved oak tables.

 

I have 3k oak logs

 

2m cash willing to spend

 

What's the best way to do this?

 

Plank the logs myself?

 

Get the butler to do it?

 

And whats the difference between telling butler to un note planks and just fetch them from the bank?

A few things:

 

 

 

For starters, I would not recommend building carved oak tables. Since your construction level is below 74, then build oak larders (they're faster).

 

 

 

There are ups and downs to both of the planking options. If you plank the logs yourself, it will cost less gp, but it will take a little longer. If the butler does it for you, the process will be a bit faster, but it will also cost more. In addition to paying the regular "planking fee," you have to pay your butler for his services every 8 loads.

 

 

 

Having your butler unnote planks is a slightly faster process than having him get them from the bank. Other than that, there's no real difference.

I think you can plank 1400 oak logs an hour using the baloon from cw. If you use a house tele (air/earth staff equipped) then tele to cw when you're done, i think that's the fastest that doesn't involve paying a butler. However, i have never used a butler, so I'm not sure of the cost of that.

So is baloon faster than funning to varrock bank because isn't there a limit on weight so you can't take a full inventory

from what i've heard, this is the best way to plank logs... and the weight thing... well I think either there's no limit or a limit that allows you to take what you need to the sawmill... so no worries there... here's what you do..

 

 

 

Go to cw, then bring materials (planks and cash and dueling ring on finger), use baloon thingy, then go back to cw using duel rings... oh and don't forget your willow logs :
