Razy_m8
I'd like to get one thing straight. Those of you who feel I am "too harsh" when I criticise your work. Realise this, it's for oyur own good. You'll never get better hearing that your work is the best or your work is great when in truth it is far from. I criticise your work the way I do so you can become a better designer. constructive criticism: you can only produce contructive critism if the work your critisizing can be improved. "harsh" criticism: this is when I see that your style is one in which you can't learn anything from or just plain looks horrible. so before you go flaming me because I tell you your work sucks. realise it's to help you
Lowgravity
Lol just continue to give it, I do it and I get flamed.. It's funny, only real artists accept it, I dunno why people ask for it when they aren't going to use what you say or anything. Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(
Dyronamics
:) I avoid the 'harsh' criticism part or at least make it less obvious  Say what you think but don't go as far as to be directly rude, make suggestion rather than direct accusations and the hint usually gets taken. I don't like criticising digital art much.... In a complex abstract piece you know perfectly well it can only be edited in a limited way and that a lot of it was done by a program so its only changeable according to the program and how much the user knows. Pencil and pixel though are easy to edit, a quick rub with an eraser and a couple of strokes with a pencil and it can suddenly look a lot better. Slower with pixel but the same idea.
