But you WILL be getting magic experience as well as crafting experience and as long as you are going after crafting experience the potential profit from any resource you use to achieve the main goal is irrelevant to the subject. Yes but isn't he trying to get crafting experience? the point is that you're still losing gp, as long as the cost of mats are more than the high alch value. the only good point is that the gp lost is spilt over 2 skills, crafting and magic.
