July 29, 200718 yr I'm planning to do so using rune xbow with ruby bolts (e). I would like to ask the following questions: 1) Should I actually be praying mage throughout? 2) What would be a suitable inventory? Here are my stats relevant to this: 85 defence 86 range 92 magic 86 hp. Am combat lv 100 too. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
July 29, 200718 yr Hmm... I've tried it with 90 hitpoints and 72 ranged, but it didn't work out too well. The ruby bolts hardly hit, and when they did, the special didn't trigger very often. Could only do one KBD every trip, and only did 3 trips when I called it quits. :P
July 29, 200718 yr i have soloed the kbd last week with range and ur stats are much beter when mine i killed only 1 kbd in that trip but i used lobs and mithril bolts i sugest u to take diamond bolts and ur first atack on the kbd should be melee atack then put ur melee prayer on and range him to death i sugest this because when he can melle u he doesnt use his other atacks so often and u take less damage this in my opinion the best way to kill him

July 29, 200718 yr melee combat with black dhide and melee prayer. I averaged 3-5 per solo trip when i was around combat 110, so 2 at least must be possible for you.. (and if you need some black dhidesets you know how to find me.. :wink: )
