How to record videos with sound?

Featured Replies

I have a sony cybershot DSC-S700 and every single time i record a video with it, it doesn't have sound. but the camera says it can record with sound.

There's no audio when you play the video back on your camera?

Try putting them on your computer first and let me know if you can hear the audio then. If not, you'll want to navigate the menu until you can find your microphone/speaker settings and see if you've muted them for some reason. Chances are your mic is turned off by default or something. Let me know how that goes.

It's bizarre that they added QVGA video to the CyberShots :o

Did you try the videos on your computer like the guy said above?

It most likely is recording the audio but your camera just doesn't play it back with sound, which could be because of a setting or is not physically capable of doing it.
