Using iron knives from 1 range wont be very effective as you will hit lots of 0's. Id get to at least 40 range, then get the green dragonhide bonus before you use iron knives

 

 

 

From 40 3k iron knives might get you 50-60 range

so from 40.. will 10k get me 70 range?
