Is using Verac's set good for training on normal monsters? Or is it just good for bosses and nothing else?

I would say it's good due to it being able to ignore armour; but most people use it for Kalphite Queen. Perhaps you should try i and see if you're comfortable.

Well, you can use it, but why not use a scimmy + defender? faster and the healthy bonuses of the defender. Or a whip and defender. Most people when training like that tend to use barrows for their defence bonuses, with the exception if switching to guthans to heal, and occasionally people with Dh. I would reccomend against it, but i don't see it being too bad.

well...so far i've been using veracs for barrows...no runes! =D

If you are using prayer or Verac's special, you are training on something too hard. For normal combat, if you are going to use Barrow's armor, you are just using it for it's defence and Verac has the lowest defense of all 4 melee brothers. So that is why people don't use Verac for normal melee training.

veracs is mainly used for boss monsters and staking..i've seen it used for normal training because "it's better than rune and looks sexy" as i was told when i asked..
