How 'bout...Using more than two colors on an object?

how bout you look closer and see i did :D.... when it looks like its slowly becoming darker its because i chose slight changes in color not drastic

you need only a few to bring out the shape and bring out the shape is truely what matters in shading but dont limit yourself to quanity its quality that matters

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the sigs aren't very interesting

 

 

 

to make it more interesting in the top one i would have the guy and the demoon look fiercely at each other ready fight with fire bruning around them to show that they are bursting with anger, make the the demon have more of a snout to make him more demon like and aggresive because he looks like a pig with red eyes and horns now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

in the lower one i would have him surrounded by these ghoul things shooting them of one by one in a action hero pose because it seams boring like this

 

 

 

o and btw if he just shot a arrow then he should have his bow in firing postion unless hes shooting the ground and the arrow just magicly appeared there. (just c/c)
