August 5, 200718 yr well yew longs are easier to sell than mage longbows... and didnt yew longs price just went to 600 - 700gp ea :boohoo:
August 5, 200718 yr Author If i alch them, assuming i take the quickest route in and buy the logs, nats, and spin my own flax. i know that buying yews isn't profitable. each alchs for 768 log 350 flax 80 nat 300 what do mages alch for?
August 5, 200718 yr I make money on mage longs. Cost: log - 1K nature rune - 225 gp (buying from Ali-Morrisane or Mage guild) bowstring - 170ea Total: 1395 gp After high alch I get 1536 gp which is 141 gp profit, plus good fletch and mage exp. Even if you buy nats 300ea, you still get profit. With yew longs you can profit only if you sell bows (thus abandoning mage exp) or if you make one of ingredients yourself. Runescape Reader's Digest
