Cats on rs, why not dogs?

Featured Replies

Everyone on p2p probably knows about cats. But, I want a dog. I got the perfect idea when the varrock update happened. My idea is to have a stray follow and you and if you feed it and don't scare it off you can take it to a home portal and it will follow you through.

From there you keep feeding it raw meat and it will get a healthy coat and become a dog instead of a stray. (like a kitten becomes a cat.) Well you can train it like a cat on rats to become stronger or on sheep (sheep dog or ratter). It doesn't really matter which one you do because they will eventually go to the dog equivelent of the fat cat, the mellow dog. You have to feed it a special food from an npc and it becomes a fiesty dog. This is the highest form of dog.

The special things you can do with a dog other than using it on sheep? You can use it while fighting npcs or in pvp as a companion. By training it on sheep or rats you can train it up to hit 5's. They can take damage but, not die, they only go back to being mellow after taking 25 damage. This can be increased as you can make or buy dog armor. This goes up to rune. It will look like a little plate along the dog's back and it connects or other smaller pieces protecting the sides and limbs, it also has straps that go underneath the dog made of leather. The dog armor helmet is just a round cap of metal with a piece protecting the top of the nose. The greaves will just be little metal disks protecting the knees that is straped on and a little piece of metal protecting the paw. That is dog armor.

You can also name it. Whatever you want as long as it isn't crude. You can also buy a 5k pack from the npc who sells you the food to be used in the place of the dog plate armor. It holds 10 more invy and your dog lugs it around. The dog never leaves your side and you can only have 1 at a time. You can also get rid of the dog, but beware, you can't get it back then.

You can also build a doghouse in your poh's garden where it will stay in your house.

Post ideas and you can flame if you want, the more you flame, the better I can make it by editing bits of it. Happy 'Scaping. (Yes, I'm a dog lover.)

I love dogs too and I would like a dog but I think this is one of the "don't suggest" topics.

Animals:

- Abusing animals e.g. Harming pets/tamed animals in PvP.

- Horses/Riding (All animals & machines: Riding a goat or a bike is still riding) *

- More pets/trained monsters/tamed animals *

There, Oh and dogs smell bad

why not make player trained humans?

I like dogs more than cats, but even if it isn't suggested, they'll put it in the game. Oh, and P2P.

Locked~ On the DO NOT suggest list:
