I_Fly_High_G
"His beard seems to have a life of its own." The Drops -> [hide=Drop List] Highlighted are the drops worth picking up/alching. You can pick up the other drops if you like too tho. [/hide] The Gear -> [hide=What you should wear] That is the outfit I wear to range. If you do not have the best gear here are some other possible ones starting from best to worst. Helms: 3rd Age Coif > Robin Hood Hat > Archer's Helm > Karil's Coif > Snakeskin Coif > Coif Necklace: Fury > Glory > Power > Accuracy Cape: Ava's accumulator > Any cape Body: Dragonhide > Others Legs: Dragonhide > Others Weapon: MSB > Best bow you can use Weapon2: Knives > Darts > Javelins (Together with Zammy Book) Gloves: Barrows Gloves > Dragon Gloves > Vambraces Boots: Ranger Boots > Snakeskin Boots Ring: Archer Ring > Ring of Wealth[/hide] The Inventory -> [hide=Your Invent] Since you will be ranging the Mossies from a safespot, not alot to no food will be required at all. The food are for when you first get to spot and they are aggressive to you. A 1 click tab may not be necessary but if you are low level it would be better there for emergencies, otherwise bring tele runes incase you want to leave, but a bank is far away. Any fire staff (lava is shown in the picture, it is unlimited fire and earth runes) can be used, and the nats are there for you to high alch some of the items that the Mossies drop. They also drop nats so you wouldn't need to bring that much yourself. The money is there if you need to take a boat ride, ect. to other places. [/hide] Training Spots -> [hide=Northwest Brimhaven (Moss Giant Island)] To get to Moss Giant Island you start off at brimhaven, which IMO is the fastest way to get there and to go back and bank. Green:The boat ride from Ardy port. Red:The walk from Brimhaven port to the rope swing. Blue:The blue line is the rope swing to access the island. Cyan:This is the spot you want to be. Safespots are all around the island, the dead bushes and trees provide cover. Be careful if you are 84 combat or lower as the moss giants will still be agressive against you. (I was 100 combat when I found this place and do not know if they are aggressive to players 84 combat or lower, if someone would confirm it, please post) This safespot is good for when the Mossies stop being aggressive and you can safely range them from here or if you are high enough combat for them not to be aggressive. This next safespot is when you first enter the island and they are aggressive to you. This works well because no Mossies can reach you. There are also 2 cake slice respawns northwest and southwest of the island. They are good if you get hit by the Mossies and don't want to waste if you brought any with you or run out but get hit. If you need to bank, just take the rope swing back and walk back to the Brimhaven port and take the boat ride back to Ardy and bank. (Remember your money for the boat rides) This is my preferred place to range Mossies because there's little no no one here.[/hide] [hide=North of Ardy - East of Fishing Guild] To get to this spot, you start off at the bank North of Ardy. Head north to the fishing guild and then go east. When you see a bridge with a fishing spot you will know you are there. Purple:Walk from ardy to East of the Fishing Guild near a bridge with a fishing spot sign. Red:Marks where the Mossies are approximately are at. The safespots with the rocks work well if they are not aggressive against you or you have stayed there past their aggressive period. It's not rly that good because if you are safespotting a Mossie and another one spawns near you while they are still aggressive will make it atk you. This safespot requires little luring. It spawns on the other side of the rock, and you can hit over the rock, but sometimes it moves away and you may get hit while luring it back. This is an okay spot to train, but it gets crowded near peak hours and is hard for you to keep constantly killing them because you will have to either hop, or wait for one to spawn. If you need to bank, just walk back to Ardy and use the North bank. Owned_Nex
very orderly and nice, but you are missing THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION a guide like this can give. EXPERIANCE PER HOUR. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some? aoe325
Nice guide but you left the best training spot of them all out of your guide, which is weird at your level.. The Pirate cove island, accessible by starting lunar diplomacy, has a dozen of easilly safe-spotable (theres a fenced area in middle lol) level 48 moss giants, and its ALWAYS empty. If there's someone just change world Best moss giant spot in the world really. And when you want to bank your seeds you simply go bank at lunar island Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.
I_Fly_High_G
I will get exp per hour aswell but I am a little busy this past week and I couldn't be on for long enough to get 1 hour exp's worth. It will be up soon tho. About the one at Pirate Cove, I didn't start the quest for it, and I was unaware of it. I will start the quest asap and add it to the guide. Thanks for suggestions. :D 99 Crafting acheived 31/01/0899 Strength acheived 17/12/
Wo0tilici0us
Good guide. 9/10 (cause you know, it doesn't benefit me much- im f2p) So you're actually suggesting JaGex implements something into the game which for several years have been trying to stop?... :XD:
