Merry
This Poem/Song is in memory of my Grandmother. She lived with us for 2-3 years and I was the one who was expected to take care of her. She was my best friend and we did everything together. last fall my aunt came and took her away from us(against her will). I was so sad, and I had to find some way of venue for my heartbrokeness. I am not one to talk but rather to write so no one knew exacly how I felt for the longest time. A few weeks ago we received news of my grandmothers death. It was a shock because when she went away she was healthy(I won't get into that...) I was able to then Share with my mom what had been on my heart through those months...This Poem/Song was written shortly after my Aunt took her away from us... In the twilight of each day when my heart seems turned away from these daily tasks I do as I try not to cry over you ____________________ (chorus) Your absence is felt as I daily remember of the joys that we shared for my love will last forever ____________________ In the darkness of the night while the moon glistens bright My thoughts would turn towards you and the things we use to do (Chorus) The dawning of each day reminds me of the way you would rise early every day and start to reading right away (Chorus) I miss You, I do as I continue through all my days reminders of you in different ways hoping one day to see you once again to show you my love, dear friend... Rhys
Wow, another great piece, I'm beginning to like your work. It's always nice to see a new member of the forum as enthusiastic as yourself. I'm still too lazy to write something up though. :(
