Well im raising my slayer... and cave horrors are the next thing... well next ok thing... I was just wondering are they worth the time... and how often do they drop the masks?

 

 

 

Do they hit very hard or often?

I think they are worth it. They drop nats often and lots of herbs and seeds. They also drop noted teak logs. They also drop more than 1 item at a time, like they will drop 2 or 3 herbs at a time. I got my mask near the end of my 2nd task of them, so for myself it was 1/300 for me, i also heard that from another discussion not to long ago that the drop rate was roughly in that area.

I believe the average drop rate for a black mask is about 1:400. Although personally, I've killed well over 1k and had only one mask.

 

 

 

They are an excellent source of other items however. They are great for nature runes and highend herb seeds. It's also worth collecting the noted teak logs they drop.

 

 

 

So even if you don't get a black mask, I tend to find a trip is wortwhile anyway.

By the time you get a black mask from a drop youll most likely be able to buy one from all the other random drops you get, so its worth it.

Well the first black mask I would keep... but the rest i would be selling... I dont have that much cash :(
