  3. Hello. I am in of a graphic for a website because quite frankly I suck at anything graphical. I'll cut strait to it and give you an example and the dimensions. 50px Wide Height, anything I want to repeat the image on the Y axis (Down) so it needs to be able to repeat smoothly Format I'm not to fussy but it has to be high quality and if it has any transparent parts just save it as a .GIF This image is going to be placed either side of a fixed width area so it's going to be like a border For example Look familiar? Yes it's the old pillars from the RuneScape website. The are both identical but one is just flipped. I want something like that - Not exactly like the RuneScape ones but following the style if you will. Also try to make it less...cartoony :? Haha If you need any more information or if I have been unclear on what I need please do not hesitate to ask. Regards, Perry :geek:
  4. DVD Decrypter and Media Coder - Both are legal if you are converting DVD's that you have purchased yourself and you are using the .mp4 files for personal use. You should read some guides on how to use both of the programs as the are not easy to use

    Close. Thanks.
  6. That's what I've been using to convert to .mp4 - The joiner takes like 10 hours though.
  7. I might buy it...I need to get back into reading :
  8. Hello. I have been making backups of my DVD collection and converting them to .mp4 format so I can watch them on my iPod/PSP. However, I made a mistake with DVD Decrypter I accidentally set file splitting to 1GB files so I have around 4-6 .mp4 files that make up the DVD. So I need a free program to join my .mp4's to one .mp4 - Please do not suggest .mp4 Joiner...as it only does like half of the files then says you need to purchase. If there is a shareware option suggest that too as I might have to buy it if no freeware options are available. Thanks in advance, Perry
  9. Yes it works. I upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows XP 3 days ago and copied my RS Cache from Vista to XP it worked fine. Goodluck. :geek:
  10. I already have a desktop which I am posting on, I think i am going to keep this PC for a bit longer. I need a fully working laptop, I've saw a review of the EEEPC at http://stuff.tv a while - 2GB HDD on the £200 version and £4GB on the £220, No thanks - I need all my music, Pictures, some short movies like podcasts for my iPod wherever I am as I want to move away from the Desktop "scene" lol. The UI seems a bit childish also, they have a picture of a child using it at the top, I want something more grown up. I also do not like Linux, I tried Ubuntu for about 1 week a few weeks back, did not like it I will never leave windows, ever. Thank you for your suggestion anyway
  11. Mainly work, RS when I feel like it so it has to be more than capable running the new detail, I don't really want to remove any of the detail and it need to be pretty smooth running. Dell are pretty expensive and you don't really get that good of a machine :?
  12. Your system specs
  13. I went out to Pc World and brought one, I couldn't wait any longer, it is VERY nicely speced 3GB Ram, 200GB HDD, 15.4" Screen, 1.83Ghz Processor, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (2GB Cache), Vista Home Premium, Media Center (Idk if thats default for vista) http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1142820101.1213810371@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccfkadeegfgjdehcflgceggdhhmdgmh.0&category_oid=&sku=676404&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null Hey Guys. I made this thread a while back, but because of the rollback lost it and it had some good links in it that I was going to look into all is lost though. My budget I can't go over £500 unfortunately as I am paying for this laptop out of my own money. I need a laptop purely for the portability, I need to be able to work on projects almost anywhere and I can't do that with a desktop  I'm looking for something with around 2Ghz CPU and 2GB RAM, Hard drive space...160GB will do me fine, I normally have all my videos on DVD discs so that saves quite a lot of space. This PC I am on currently is at 120GB/149GB, though I do not use all that space I do not want a laptop with under 100GB or hard drive space I like to have the freedom of having a lot of space and this laptop will need to see me through a few years and I don't want to install a new hard drive a few years down the line. I have looked at a few laptops on line and haven't found nothing that took my fancy except these two, they are both Acer. 1 2 So give me feedback on those aswell if you like. Thank you in advance, Perry :) - If you need any more information etc please do not hesitate to ask.

I love how the default theme changes over different operating systems, a real nice touch. So many features that are so much better! Bookmarking, The address bar and so much more :
