August 12, 200718 yr I admit I haven't done the quest yet, but in every circumstance I've needed an extra mage lvl, wizards mind bomb has always worked I don't see why it wouldn't now, ohh and yes it allows you to cast those spells. Magic is the only stat thats ability's are directly effected by it's current lvl, for instance ( I can't think of a spell lvl) but say varrock teleport was mage lvl 24, if your magic was 25 and you drank something and it decreased to 23, you wouldn't be able to cast the tele, and vise versa, if your mage was 23 and you drank a mind bomb, you would be able to cast the tele. finally back in the game! send me a message, all my old friends quit I laughed so hard I pooped my thong. :lol:
