The other thing that may cause this is if hour hard drive has been damaged, the BIOS may be sitting there trying to detect the hard drive and will never get past that stage. You could try unplugging your hard drive and see if you can gain access to the BIOS. [Assist-X]

August 18, 200718 yr I hope you had your computer plugged into a surge protector. APC = an brand that makes UPS's (Uninterruptible Power Supply) wich also works as an surge protector :) Maybe u gotta try an other keyboard, press the "Num Lock" key to test it (light gotta burn, when its not... your keyboard or your usb or PS/2 is broken) Currently working on: <- @ lobsters from 60 <- @ Sharks from 94. Aming 60-99 cooking within 1.5months
August 18, 200718 yr I've had this before, where the keyboard doesn't respond. It was caused because I'd screwed up my computer and the USB ports weren't being read properly until I'd fully booted up. As I had a USB keyboard, I couldn't do anything. Try replacing your keyboard with one of the old style PS/2 keyboards, if you haven't already. Other than that, I'm all out. 99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength
