August 13, 200718 yr You should definitely mine coal in the mining guild if your level is high enough. If not, do it near Draynor. That way you are close to the bank. For iron you should probably mine just west of Port Sarim. Lots of iron rocks and not many people there.
August 13, 200718 yr Coal: mining guild, there are other spots but guild is best. Iron: for banking I think you can go to either east or west mines near Varrok...

August 13, 200718 yr best iron mining place IMO is in lvl 6 wold just north of edgevile (also known as steel mine). also there are a bunch of lvl 25 skeletons which will attack you but by doing so no pker can attack you
