The Tip It Range Skill guide has suggested training places organized by level and P2P vs F2P.

 

 

 

Otherwise, I suggest that you make a post like

 

"Best place to Range from 20 to 30?"

 

As you level up repost the question with your new levels.

 

If you ask a specific, focused question like that then you will probably

 

get some decent responses.

 

 

 

Otherwise consider this:

 

Range: Pick up your arrows. You will get about 4 times the number of shots

 

out of them if you do. That will save you a huge amount of money.

 

If you hunt the minotaurs in the SoS then you may be able to use the arrows

 

that drop for the next kill.

 

Also, if you cast a Curse spell on the monster first, then you can get it

 

mad enough to walk over to stand outside your safe spot.

 

That way, when the monster dies, all of the recoverable arrows are in the loot pile.

 

That makes arrow recovery fast, safe, and easy.

 

 

 

For damage, range max hit is something like IronArrows = (Range + 15)/9

 

Consult the Tip It range guide for a max hit table.

 

 

 

Magic: The most cost effective spell available for F2P is Curse.

 

If you cast a Curse spell on a monster then you will always

 

earn 29 magic exp. It doesn't matter if it hits or not. It's always 29 exp.

 

So, dress in any full metal armor, kite shield, green vambraces, staff,

 

and Sos boots.

 

Then go and Curse almost any monster from a safe spot.

 

Also, post the same kind of question, "Best place/way to level F2P

 

magic from levels 20-30?" in the forums and see what you get.

 

 

 

Finally, since you are F2P, you will very quickly reach the max capability

 

in ranging (level 40 IIRC) and Magic (level 59 IIRC).

 

So you will probably find that the last 12 million in exp, on your way

 

to 99, is earned in exactly the same way.

 

Only the first million (or less) will have a bit of variety.
