what does runescape mean if i leave my account for 5 seconds still it can be stolen? i dont get this. How can a hacker steal my account if i leave it still for a 10 seconds?

Perhaps they mean leaving yourself logged in whilst you attend to something away from the keyboard. This can be dangerous in a public room such as a class or library, where this time gives someone time change you pass and/or recovery questions.

 

 

 

Although 5-10 seconds may be an exageration, they may be hinting at the time it takes a perpared person to access a keylogger and install on your computer whilst you're away. This could conceivably take only a few seconds I suppose.

They mean five seconds of leaving your account logged on and leaving the computer (so your character is afk). In these 5-10 seconds, someone else could come, sit down next to your computer while you're away, and (theoretically) change your password.
