But it doesn't count because they aren't undead, undead are necromancer's creations or lost souls. Nobody knows the real reason, but somehow they are at rest, yet unrestive. This item does not give you stat bonuses against the barrows brothers. Undead though they are, their fearsome power can negate most charms like this one. You amulet should still work on all the other undead creatures, however. Hope this helps you out. Go to the haunted mine quest page on runescape.com, and look at the reward, it says it there.
