Why won't the Runescape website load? :(

Featured Replies

Hi there. I'm not sure if this is a problem with everyone, but here is my story. At around 7pm GMT when Jagex decided to fix their servers, I didn't feel like waiting and went offline and left the Runescape Website. When I wanted to go back on Runescape, my browser displays "This webpage cannot be displayed." Other websites work but not runescape. Can anyone help?

Try cleaning out your internet history?

Already tried and it still didnt work

i have the same problem :S

Do you go to RuneScape from your internet or a shortcut link on your desktop?

  • Author

I know about that, but the actual website doesn't load.

I tried both and it still didn't work

Sorry, I'm not a computer expert. Maybe try linking from a google search?

yeah like the actual page wont load.

Are you sure you cleaned out all your internet history? My last advice is do a search in your computer files and try deleting all the cookies involving RuneScape. May take awhile.

I know theres a folder containing all the Runescape cache. I deleted that and it still doesn't load.

Wow, well. I guess... Just wait a day and see what happens?

What internet service do you have? Because mine used to do the same thing for another website.

restart your computer and i hope it will work for you. i did that and it works.

If he cleaned his cache and it didn't work, it's not going to work if he does it a second time.

Have you tried updating to the latest java? Re-installing java? Scaned for virus and spyware?
