Striker- Soccer sketch [whoo! alliteration :D]

Featured Replies

A quick sketch I did. I would like honest CC [be it maybe harsh] because I want to improve.

Main areas I would like advice on is anatomy and shading

Thank you.

Edit- Hm, I noticed the leg that is towards us is a bit too small and the waist seems thin too.

Only thing wrong is that the legs look too 2D. Almost like he's trying to kick you but stuck in animation (If you didn't get that, don't worry 'cause neither did I) Needs more sence of movement in my opinion.

But very good anyway.

put him in jail

Then i'll just wait for him to drop the e-soap

not bad...

the twisting ody gives it a nice depth, but as has been siad the legs are too small and maybe it's just my screen, but it seems to be abit softly drawn  I can barely make out any details...

Thanks, and as for the softly drawn comment I can safely say that is my scanner

For some reason a lot of the subtle shading is missed out.

Does anyone have any settings they could recommend for me to scan at?

(Like what dpi etc)
