  1. I notice everyone is worried about the TT update but lets not forget what happened with the last oen, the older items became even rarer and the newer ones became common. Right now everyone is trying to get rid of their TT items (canes, boaters, berets etc) so they are cheaper than ever. What I am doing is playing it risky and snapping them up at the lowest price hoping that the new update adds rarity to the older items once again leading to a huge increase. Another thing, headbands currently have a street value several times higher than GE price so maybe jagex will finally update their GE price manually like they did to rock climbing boots so I've also got constant buying offers for headbands at max price, they sell about once every two days and their prices are gradually increasing (the opposite of others, this is probably true with bobs aswell) 5% every time one sells. So yeah if you've got the money to risk, there may be a lot to be made.
  2. Slayer is the way to go, get level 73 and a task of jungle strykewyrms and you will be over the moon. On a task of 117 I got two hexcrests (~600k each at the time) several noted high level herbs and seeds and plenty of other stackable drops. Easiest 2 mil I've ever made. Even level 52 for Jellies is reasonable money as they drop clues very often along with the decent rune full helm.
  3. I luckily managed to solo KQ in one trip having loaded my terrorbird with sharks, and using full veracs. Definitely seconding the advice here, if you are not a very leveled player I would recommend duoing instead (or maybe even teaming) using a slayer helmet where you can afford it (i.e. first form only if you are veracing) with boosted levels to give you as much a chance as possible to deal the most damage. 15k Slayer exp - yes please
  4. I think it's a great minigame it's just a shame it takes so long to get to any decent rewards. Although to be fair, we shouldn't expect too much in such little time especially when any level player can play.
  5. My advice for a trial run would be to use the best salamander for your level, and change attack style to fit the brother, bring plenty of herb tar and prayer potions. Don't expect to make more than break even unless you get mega lucky.
  6. I'm pretty sure the same thing happens in brewing, it once took me 4 days for my greenmans ale to finish fermenting. This is when the usual cycle takes just about 24hrs. (And noone was paid to remove diseases... as it's impossible)
  7. They drop charms :| , blue charms fairly often I may add. To address the second part, dusties arent too bad... Oh sweet, gonna hop over there when I get back to attack. Dust Devils though? Training on a lvl 93 npc doesn't seem like a good idea. I can see you're at 68 summoning, any other "okay" or "relatively good" npcs that drop good numbers of charms.. crimson preferred but green is okay too. Damn, I totally hijacked IeatWindex's topic.. :\ [/hide] If by that you're asking how I got the charms for 68 summoning, you should also notice that I have 78 slayer  . Dusties are actually fairly weak, and with B2P tabs you can stay down there for a long, long, long time. Sorry for supporting the thread jacking :-# . I will vouch for that too, usually B2P gets more than enough food for them, if you start on about 3 lobbys then you'll be fine. They hit mainly 0s and that's with 80 defence wearing barrows chest, slayer helm (if they're a task you may as well go down the well, if not neitznot should do fine in CT), and dragon legs. I believe they're weak to slash (whip / scimitar) .
  8. Yeah and ive also heard of people who got 500k from 0% ep. I myself have got a 250k worth drop from the lowest level I could attack and I had no ep either.
  9. I think you stand a good chance of getting your account back if in fact you were training legitimately. From what I have read before, you tend to get instant automated responses when they decline you, and slow decisions when they actually review your account. In which case they should be reviewing over the next few weeks and judging from your story, they should be letting you off. As for the consumer rights... jagex told Knotch the reason for the ban was for suspected macroing. We all know that their detection systems are mostly spot on and the few exceptions do get sorted out.
  10. They probably banked 99 in vinesweeper points, which clearly would take over 2 days. It wasn't me btw. So I dont know how he did it. When farming was first released you could power train it by planting anything and then digging it up straight away receiving plenty of exp doing each task. This was fixed so you could only dig up dead plants and grown plants later in the week. Ofcourse many people had stock piled seeds for farming over the previous month so many people were ready. That's my thoughts at least.
  11. For those interested: The current underground pass quest wasn't released until a while after the runescape2 beta so those of us who hadn't done the quest in classic weren't able to for several weeks.
  12. I've noticed this a lot on the pvp worlds: Wield your best melee armour (so gives you the most negative magic attack) and auto cast your highest spell on a friend while they do the same to you. Now this helps you to gain earning potential which can mean an excuse to kill others if you get bored of the autocasting. And it because you're in combat you're safe from everyone else. You also get the experience from casting the spell whether you hit or not.
  13. Right now the price of a swamp lizard on the g.e. is 1,789. That seems pretty big for a low hunter requirement and 2 only 50% energy from the nearest bank. I would say catch these for a few days, right now a merchenting clan are power buying these until they reach 5k each so that's some pretty easy money if you ask me. Oh and the best part, one load takes about 6 mins (including running to and from bank) and will grab you a decent 40k, so that's 400k an hour. Or, if you keep them until the price gets to 5k, it works out to be 110k a run or 1.1 mil an hour. Of course I don't recommend you hang on to them for too long because like all merchenting clans, something will cause a quick fall of the price.
  14. That was how it was in classic, first 3 letters of the colour between @s. eg. @cya@ for cyan text
  15. You can either use the whole set for the set effect but you only really need that when doing long slayer tasks (guthans) where you need small health boosts every now and then but won't waste inventory space on food. Veracs is also useful but only if you're doing KQ runs or whatever. If you're only doing moss giants then you should mix and match with barrows armour which gives the best crush defence for example torags body... guthans legs veracs helm (not saying that gives the best as it's just an example) The helmets are usually more expensive so only get one if you really need it (try using rune helm and if that still leaves allot then go for a barrows) The weapons are also very slow so you could just use a dragon weapon instead.
