Nadril
Ok... now, as me and cal have said many times, i am not going to write a beginers guide to terragen. I realy don't want to do that, although we may do an offical post about it sometime not sure yet. Anyways....... here we go: Now, your atmospheres for the most part are quite basic. I mean.. they are tweaked a bit and someone fit that mood, but they are nothing special to look at. and the problem is, they are about all there is to look at. The terrain.... i realy can't epxress it any way else, is horibly and just.. its hard to look at. the fact that there is no atention to realisim at all is just kinda... eh. Also, there is barly any land. For the most part you have a very basic sea with a mountain or two. just to tell you, that doesn't exactly look very good. Now, also, the surface maps... there realy is none. you tried a snow/ice one for the top, but its nothing more than a few white surface layers. the fact is snow wouldn't be that bumpy, or realy be on that kind of slope there. also, if it was ice, it would be much more glossy and clear, and MUCH more reflective. The second one i can't comment on the surface map, because well, there is none, or at least you can't see it. The water for both also is very basic. Sure you made it look like ice on the first one (which is just a simple press of the button) but they are just... meh. And when the water seems to be almost the whole piece, you kind of want it to look good. ~Nadril
