I guess that's why I sit here and stare at rhymes

 

 

 

Knowin' notthin wil change, the hussle remains

that we want, that we need to suceed in life

 

 

 

Some will plead, other bleed in my streets day and night

 

 

 

By the gun or the knife, it dosen't really matter

 

 

 

No one cares until the kid ends up a factor

 

 

 

But then they cryin' after like they couldn't see it commin'

 

 

 

When everyday we scatter cuz we hear someone a gunnin'

 

 

 

The problem is we runnin, instead teachin' back

It probably dosen't matter, that i'm tellin' how I feel

 

 

 

When you keepin' it real, you always hopin' for the kill

Well it's u n o, you can have the damn fame

 

 

 

I'm hopin' for a deal, but it's a shame how we always get the blame

 

 

 

When we're here to entertain, and it blows my mind how we can kill why a rhyme

 

 

 

Like over time we'll all be charged with crimes

 

 

 

and I guess you better take away all the school books, cuz Americas history

 

 

 

Is filled with cruel crooks, it's like it's a mystery of who killed Kennedy

 

 

 

It's like our own country has become our own enemy

 

 

 

If knowledge is power, then why censor it?

 

 

 

When we schould be teachin' kids to make sense of it

 

 

 

and censorship isn't all we're loosin' we're slowly but surely, givin up our constatution

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now we're givin up our freedom just to feel safe

 

 

 

What else is at stake, surrounded by these leaches

 

 

 

They tried to take God out of the Pledge of Alligence

 

 

 

Molesters as preachers, drug addicts as teachers

 

 

 

and people killin' people over two socks and sneakers

 

 

 

like notthin' can reach us

 

 

 

It's sad it takes the twin towers to show our power

 

 

 

when united

 

 

 

All that despite it ti's a shame it takes war

 

 

 

to show all the people what this country stands for

 

 

 

I'm filled with disgrace, when we fight over race

 

 

 

Like we have a choice of brith and death after

Story Behind This: I'm tired of all these emcees all trying to be gangstas, it makes no sese if people can feel ya music then it dosen't matter! That's all I do is just write what I feel and I still get hated on for doing what I do in the music of my taste. Plus, I'm just disgraced when we fight over race and relgion. It's pointless no one is a full blooded race and we're all equal people in this world, respect has been locked in a loicker and the key is lost. Relgion, Iused to feel strongly against but as of lately I just can't figure what to believe anymore. So I figure I'll give it a shot and now what I realize it I believed all along I just refused to let ME believe that I beleived. i agree. rap shouldn't be about who's the realest or the most gangsta. It should be who has the best rhymes. Who cares if they grew up in the ghetto or in a millionaire family as long as they rap well?

but its not just saying its all about who can rap best its also about the discriminatio in the world that shouldnt be there, and that we should all just get along. (correct me if im wrong its just thats what i saw)

I'm not much into "Rap" because like you said most are full of stuff about being the biggest ganster and doing the most stuff and I really don't relate. I liked yours because it had a message to it. :D I do like some Christian Rap as those have meanings to them and I can sometimes relate. Though not all are that good. Ever Heard of T-bone? He came from a very bad background and he accually used to do a lot of stuff but he's a christian now and he's writing songs that change lives. If you like That type of stuff,he's okay. He can spit them out pretty fast sometimes. :D
