Ipod Nano + Xbox 360

Well, I've just been having all kinds of trouble with my gadgets lately... :wall:

This time, it's my ipod nano and xbox 360 (lol, apple + microsoft). I figure someone here should be able to help me with this one. I've tried google and stuff, to no avail.

When I plug my ipod into my 360, and go to the media screen, it shows "Audiobooks" as the name of my ipod... And when I go to play one of my playlists, none of them are listed. It just says "No playlists found."

Ok, for the techy stuff...

I'm running Windows XP SP2

I'm using iTunes 7.3.2.6

My ipod's firmware is version 1.1.3 (the latest version)

It's an Ipod Nano, 2nd Generation, Windows format, 2 GB, Silver Colored (the cheapest one at walmart, lol)

I have the May 2007 XBox 360 update installed. I also installed all the updates available.

My 360's Dashboard version is 2.0.5766.0

And my ipod and 360 weren't doing this before today.

And if you need any other info, post.

Thanks! ::'

And if you're wondering what the heck the problem is,

When I plug my ipod into my 360, and go to the media screen, it shows "Audiobooks" as the name of my ipod... And when I go to play one of my playlists, none of them are listed. It just says "No playlists found."

Maybe Microsoft wants you to buy a Zune, not letting you use your iPod?

xbox.com has a knowledge base article about ipods.

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/digitalmedia/ipod.htm

"We're happy to report that the Xbox 360̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¾Ãââ video game and entertainment system works with MP3 music files on Apple iPod portable audio players, right out of the box."

Why are you playing your iPod on your 360 anyway? Just use headphones or speakers.

I like to play my music in the background of the games, and my TV's speakers pwn my computer's. ::'
