i'm making a pure mage, what is the highest possible mage level if i confuse/curse all the way to level 20(combat)?

I would say buy an air staff, a couple hundred mind runes and do that until 19. then curse to 37. confuse doesn't give that much xp

Well, he just made a typo, but assuming you stay at 10HP, you can get up to 37 magic and stay at 20 combat.
