September 9, 200718 yr well i cant get on tip.it, i have to use a proxy bypass site to get on, but still cant use the skill calculator/planner. i use firefox but it doesn't work with internet explorer either. anyone know why, and how to fix it.
September 9, 200718 yr Sounds like the site has been black listed, check through and see if it has been, also we need a lot more information then that. Is this even the right forum? - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
September 9, 200718 yr Author well people would complain which ever forum i put it in :) its not blacklisted. when i type the website in it takes ages to load and then says "connection has timed out"
September 9, 200718 yr Are you on your own computer? Most schools/work/libraries have filters. It might filter out "game". Also, most proxies disable scripts that calculators like Tip.It's run on as you can damage a proxy by using a poisoned script and navigating the proxy to it. If you're on a filtered comp, I'm surprised they haven't filtered proxy services. Also, this should be in Tech and Comp, I think. If you believe you came from monkeys, you probably did.
September 9, 200718 yr Author its my own comp, and tip.it wont load on the comp downstairs either, they are on the same network
September 9, 200718 yr Are you the house network admin? If not, maybe a parent/roommate/whoever is annoyed that you go on Tip.It so much they blacklisted it or pipeline-proxied (by that I mean limiting the bandwidth for one domain, so the connection times out. Like taking a 10MBPS connecting, and allowing only 14.4kbps for say google.com) tip.it. I can't think of anything else. If you believe you came from monkeys, you probably did.
September 9, 200718 yr Author well the admin, not me, isnt that smart with computers. They can hardly use the mouse. there is no chance of them being able to alter the bandwidth or anything like that.
September 9, 200718 yr You running from a router or network? If router try to reset it. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
