Varrock#1

 

 

 

1. Have Thessalia show you what outfits you can wear.

 

2. Have Aubury teleport you to the essence mine

 

3. Mine some iron ore in the Mining spot, south-east of Varrock.

 

4. Make a plank at the sawmill

 

5. Enter the Second level of the Stronghold of Security

 

6. Jump over the fence, south of Varrock

 

7. Chop down a dying tree in the Lumber yard.

 

8. Buy a copy of the Varrock Herald

 

9. Give a stray dog a bone.

 

10. Make a bowl on a potterÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s wheel then fire in the pottery oven, all in Barbarian Village.

 

11. Enter Edgeville dungeon using the entrance to the south of Edgeville

 

12. Move your player-owned house portal to a different location using the Varrock estate agentÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s

 

13. Speak to Haig Halen after obtaining at least 50kudos

 

14. Enter the Earth Altar using the earth tiara or talisman

 

15. Have Elsie tell you a story

 

16. Mine some limestone near Paterdomus, the temple to the east of Varrock

 

17. Catch a trout in the river to the east of Barbarian Village

 

18. Venture through cobwebbed corridor in Varrock Sewers.

 

19. Find the highest point in Varrock

 

 

 

Reward: 1,000 experience lamp, Varrock armour level 1

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Varrock#2

 

 

 

1. Have the Apothecary in Varrock make you a strength potion

 

2. Enter the ChampionÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Guild.

 

3. Take the dagon-Hai shortcut to the chaos portal

 

4. Get a full complement of rats on your rat pole.

 

5. Escape from the spider lair in Varrock Sewers with some red spider eggs.

 

6. Use the spirit tree north of Varrock

 

7. Perform the four emotes from the Stronghold of Security

 

8. Select a colour for a new kitten

 

9. Use the shortcut under the west wall of Varrock Palace

 

10. Enter the A SoulÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s bane rift

 

11. Teleport to the Digsite using a digsite pendant

 

12. Craft an earth tiara on the Earth Altar

 

13. Pickpocket a guard in the Varrock Palace courtyard.

 

14. Use the teleport to Varrock spell

 

15. Get a Slayer task from Vannaka

 

16. Buy twenty mahogany planks from the sawmill operator in one transaction

 

17. Pick a fruit from the White Tree

 

18. Use the hot air balloon to travel from Varrock to somewhere else

 

19. Get a cat tranining medal from Gertrude

 

20. Dial to the fairy ring west of Varrock

 

21. Browse through OziachÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Amour Shop

 

 

 

Reward: 1,000 experience lamp, Varrock armour level 2

 

 

 

Varrock#3

 

 

 

 

 

1. Pick a poison ivy from your bush Farming patch in Varrock

 

2. Use the pipe shortcut in Varrock Sewers near the moss giants

 

3. Trade fur with the Fancy Dress Seller for a spottier cape

 

4. Smith an adamantile helm on the south east anvil in Varrock, next to AuburyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Rune Shop

 

5. Speak to Orlando Smith when you have achieved 153 Kudoes

 

6. Talk to Romily Weaklax and give him a wild pie

 

7. Craft an air battlestaff.

 

8. Give your player-owned house a fancy stone or tropical wood finish at the Varrock Estate agentÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s

 

9. Make a Varrock teleport tablet on a mahogany lectern

 

10. Obtain a new set of Family Crest gauntlets from Dimintheis

 

11. Make a waka canoe near Edgeville

 

12. Use the Home Teleport Spell in the Ancient Magicks spellbook to teleport to Edgeville

 

13. Use the skull sceptre to teleport to Barbarian Village

 

 

 

Reward: 10,000 experience lamp, Varrock Amour level 3 ( allow you to use the bank in cooking guild, very ideal for cooking thousand of fishes or cakes ( to me itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s faster than the rouge den place that is located in Burthope),

 

 

 

This is the rough sketch of the diary requirements. Since you are here and wasting time reading my guide ( yes first guide I ever post) I will try and save you as much time as possible with this guide. So letÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s begin.

 

 

 

 

 

1. Thing you need if you wan to save time:

 

 

 

-Have a cat (make sure it doesnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t turn to lazy cat while catching rat)

 

-Plant a poison ivy patch in south of Varrock

 

-Obtain all part of the skull sceptre

 

-Chef Hat

 

-Get a Earth Talisman, and Chaos Talisman

 

-Get 20 mahogany log

 

-Ruby Necklace ( to enchanted into dig site pendant *Required the completion of Varrock Museum Mini Game)

 

-Glory, Ring Dueling (teleport purpose, in case you forgot to change your uncharged glory for a charge one), Ring Charos, Combat bracelet.

 

 

 

 

 

2. Stats Requirement:

 

 

 

Farming: 70 for Posion Ivy Bush, 67-69 ( take a garden pie with you)

 

Smithing : 73 ( to make adam med helm), or 71 with mature dwarven stout, or 72 with a dwarven stout.

 

*Optional* Hunter : 69 (to catch dashing kebbit), 66 with hunter potion, or just ask someone to catch and give you the fur.

 

 

 

3. The Guide

 

 

 

This guide is not in order, I will not follow any order but at the end you should come out with all the diary done. I will label every diary that you finish by putting this (Varrock#2,12). This mean Varrock diary level 2 (step 12)

 

*NOTE:

 

Easy is 1

 

Medium is 2

 

Hard is 3

 

 

 

How to find certain Journal

 

 

 

Since this is not in any order, I highly recommend that you use ctr+f to find anything that you need. Example you want to do Varrock Easy and do step 9 (Give the stray dog a bone) but you don't know where that step is in my journal then please do this

 

"Hold Ctr and then press F"

 

"Type in the find Varrock#1,9" ( DO NOT SPACE ANYWHERE, I FIXED ALL THE SPACE BETWEEN THE COMMA)

 

"Click on find"

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Starting Point

 

Item Required: 20 fire, 5k coins, 1 poison ivy seed, air staff, 20 law, glory amulet, garden pie (67-69 farming only), 1 air staff, runes, rune pick ax, 15 coconut if you want farmer to watch your bush. Since you will be running for most the time, I highly recommend penance glove, boot of lightness, and spotted/spottier cape.

 

 

 

 

BEGIN THE DIARY: From Varrock Square run all the way South, exit the city and follow the path until you see a man name Rat, Talk to him about the diary of achievement. Your journey to complete all those journals begin.

 

 

 

1. From where you talk to him go west until you see a green arrow on the mini map (green arrow symbolize short cut) and in this case it is a fence. Jump over the fence and you are done with your first journal (Varrock#1,6).

 

2. Jump over the fence again so you are on the same side with Rat. Go to your emote page and do 4 of the emote you get from the Stronghold of Security( idea, stomp, flap and slap head) (Varrock#2,7).

 

 

 

3. Now head West until you reach Champion Guild. Enter the Guild (Varrock#2,2)

 

 

 

4. Go out from the guild and head west a little bit until you see a farming patch, rake the weed (if you havenÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t plant anything) or dig the bush in that patch and plant the seed ( please use supercompost or check your plant, or pay 15 coconut to let the farmer watch it).(Varrock#3,1)

 

 

 

5. After that run back to Rat, and head north until you hit the mining spot, mine an iron (Varrock#1,3)

 

 

 

6. Teleport back to Varrock (Varrock#2,14)

 

 

 

7. Go to Thessalia (the clothes shop lady) shop, right click on her and choose change clothes. (Varrock#1,1)

 

 

 

8. Get out of there and head to west bank, get out 1 limpwurt and 1 red spider egg and take it to the Apothecary to let him make the strength potion (Varrock#2,1)

 

 

 

9. Get out of Apothecary house and head west until you get to GertrudeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s house. Talk to her and ask to get a kitten with the color of your choice (Varrock#2,8) *Do not pick up the kitten up from this point on, you want to get it to a cat*

 

 

 

10. Run/Tele back to Varrock and head North into the Varrock palace.

 

 

 

11. Pickpocket a guard in there (Varrock#2,13)

 

 

 

12. After pickpocketing the guard, head west and fall the west wall until you see a green arrow again on the mini map, crawl outside of the Palace and then back in (Varrock#2,9)

 

 

 

13. After crawling back in, you can follow the castle wall into the Queen Garden (we are still in the Varrock palace) and pick the White Fruit (Varrock#2,17)

 

 

 

14. Now head out of the Varrock Palace and buy a Varrock Herald (located North-East of Varrock Square) (Varrock#1,8)

 

 

 

15. Kill a guard, pick up the bone, and give to the stray dog that wander around east bank ( most of the time) (Varrock#1,9)

 

 

 

16. Head to east bank, and take out hammer and 1 addy bar, 2x dashing kebbit fur. Head down to the anvil directly south of the Varrock East bank. Smith an adamantile med helm. (Varrock#3,4)

 

 

 

17. Head to Aubury next door and have him teleport you to the Essence. (Varrock#1,2)

 

 

 

18. Walk out of the Rune Essence portal. Get out of Aubury shop and head east. *Note if you have a glove from Family Crest, destroy it now* Go through the gate and talk to Dimitheis to reclaimed the glove (Varrock#3,10)

 

 

 

19. Run to the fancy clothes shop next to Dimitheis house and request the NPC to make dashing kebbit fur into spottier cape. (Varrock#3,3)

 

 

 

20. Run back to bank and deposit everything in the bank, except glory, and weight reduced outfit. Take out 20 mahogany logs, 30k coins, 1 earth talisman, 1 tiara, 1 rune ax, 1 rune pick, 1 chaos talisman.

 

 

 

21. Head out from the bank and go east until you have exited Varrock.

 

 

 

22. Head north and use the shortcut under the statue ( you need to have the quest done in order to get in). If you have not make an entrance then a bronze pick ax is required to do so. Get in the short cut and use the Chaos Talisman on the portal inside the shortcut to access the Chaos altar. (Varrock#2,3)

 

 

 

23. Get back to the portal and exit the short cut, keep heading north until you hit the lumbermill.

 

 

 

24. Change all your mahogany log to plank ( yes it cost a couple thousand it hurts and you canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t use it until youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re around 60ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s construction) (Varrock#2,16)

 

 

 

25. Jump in side the lumber yard and cut the dead tree DO NOT DROP THE LOG (Varrock#1,4)

 

 

 

26. Go and talk to the lumbermill operator and convert that normal log to plank (Varrock#7)

 

 

 

27. Now go south until you hit the Earth Altar. Use your Earth Talisman to get in (Varrock#1,14)

 

 

 

28. Use your Earth Talisman on the altar and get yourself an earth tiara (Varrock#2,12)

 

 

 

29. Now go east and follow the fence south until you get to the fence entrance. Go through the entrance and head south until you see the crack ( Soul Bane quest). Go to the side with the rope and climb down there (Varrock#2,10)

 

 

 

30. Climb up and continue to head east for a 30 second or so then head north. Mine a limestone there. (Varrock#1,16)

 

 

 

31. Rub glory and teleport to Edgeville.

 

 

 

32 .Go visit Oziach shop, just trade him and you will be done.(Varrock#3,21)

 

 

 

33. After you go visit him go back to bank and take out fishing rod, 10 feather, 1 clay, an ax, and dramen staff.

 

 

 

34. Take the fishing rod and run down to the fishing spot in Barbarian, just pray you will get at least a trout and not salmon lol..(Varrock#1,17)

 

 

 

35. After you get that trout, run straight down to the Pottery House (Varrock#1,10)

 

 

 

36. Head out of the Pottery House and go down to the Stronghold of Security, and went inside the portal to reach level 2 (Varrock#1,5)

 

 

 

37. Rub Glory to teleport to Edgeville again.

 

 

 

38. Go to bank and take out a dramen staff, wood cutting ax.

 

 

 

39. Go north till you hit wilderness ditch and turn east at the bridge, go across and cut down that tree and make yourself a waka canoe (Varrock#3,11)

 

 

 

40. Head south and go into the Fairy Ring. YouÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll be teleported to Zanaris, activate the ring and type in DKS ( Edgveville fairy ring, where you just came from). (Varrock#2,20)

 

 

 

41, Get out of the ring and head east until you see a spirit tree talk to it and teleport to gnome village or something (Varrock#2,6)

 

 

 

42. Rub the glory amulet again and teleport back to Edgeville. Deposit everything, EVERYTHING INTO BANK.

 

 

 

43. Take out an uncharged orb, 1 air staff, 3 cosmic, and glory. ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅPUT THE KITTEN INÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Thanks for reading and posting. Overall I think that Varrock diary is a pain in the butt. 1) require too much thing that a low level can't do. 2) 2 of the journals require at least level 70 (smithing and farming) . The reward is ok, but I hope the next one won't be as hard and as annoying as this.
