Okay, after I played Bioshock I went onto Quake Arena and when clicking it my computer shook and 1000 colours appeared on the screen and the main login screen All I could see was Quake 3, no multiplayer or option buttons. Now each game I do this with it wont work. Obviously Im using steam..Runescape works normally. maybe its my visual effects??

*PS im not using Quake demo with steam so its not steams fault*

Restart steam, restart your computer, re-install steam and all games that go with it, or re-install windows. Those are basically your 4 choices. (in that

order)

I've had to re-install steam about 5 times, but the games are so fun and the concept is so convenient, that I don't mind since I can just set it to download when I am at school or sleeping. I've never gone as far as re-installing windows, but one of my friends has, twice. Vista doesn't quite agree with steam as much as XP does. (His also randomly closes Bioshock and other games)

Fake Edit:Well if you aren't using steam for Quake 3, then just re-install Quake 3.
