September 23, 200718 yr No, it can happen any time, it isn't activity bound. Yes, you will gain fishing xp. The event is pretty rare though, I can't even recall the last time I got the island. When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done.All skills 80+

No, the random event can occur in Free to play worlds as well, I've gotten it when I was Free to play on my main account on numerous occasions. You shouldn't really worry about it though, you seldom get that random event out of all of them. Free experience in fishing is good anyways! \ 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer
