September 23, 200718 yr I need an in depth explanation of how to add font to computer. Copying and pasting doesnt work and i cant just save it in the folder either. Thanks in advance
September 23, 200718 yr Extract the font somewhere -> copy and past it into c:\windows\fonts If that doesn't work, then you have a problem with your fonts folder. I'm assuming you're using XP? Last.fm Signature Overlays
September 23, 200718 yr That's how you add font's to computers, by copying and pasting. Copy the font and paste it in the Fonts folder (C:\WINDOWS\Fonts). It's possible that you may have to restart your computer or something but I seriously doubt it. I don't understand how that wouldn't work for you. What exactly are you trying to do/use the font for?
September 23, 200718 yr Author I want to add some cool fonts because i am mesisng with my sig, just testing some things out, but it wouldnt let me copy and paste it, nor save in into a folder. I am using Vista btw.
September 23, 200718 yr Author When you go to save it, is is a .zip file and you cant save into fonts folder as a zip and i am unable to change it
September 23, 200718 yr Well I used Google and got these instructions: Select and Right click on the Font(s) you want to install and select Install from the context menu that appear. Your font will be instaled if it is right for Windows Vista. But it will confirm your acceptance by asking you through user account control pop up window. Simply click on Continue, and you are done.
September 23, 200718 yr Author I read that also, but i cant because they are zip files. Any good sites to download fonts?
September 23, 200718 yr I read that also, but i cant because they are zip files. Any good sites to download fonts? A zip file is a compressed folder with the font file inside of it. You will need to extract it. If your on XP or Vista, they both have a built in extractor or you can use the program Winrar.
September 23, 200718 yr Unzip the file that the fonts are in then, lol. Obviously you can't add the fonts if they're inside of a file. :? And if you want free fonts just Google "free fonts".
September 23, 200718 yr If you're just pasting the zip file in your font's folder, then no crap it's not going to work  I've used dafont for a lot of fonts Last.fm Signature Overlays
