September 25, 200718 yr What are the major pros/cons of each? How does the time vary between your catches at monks & shilo? Is it more profitably to train at monks if I'm looking to gain cooking levels too, or should I just buy and cook? Thanks!
September 25, 200718 yr Okay based on what you have said monks all the way Shilo offers no profit and no good cooking xp Speed wise your questions is garbled OBVIOUSLY you catch fish faster at shilo as they are lower level fished I'll assume you mean what fish gives faster xp. Shilo fly fishing is the fastest fishing xp in game with monks coming a close second. September 25, 200718 yr IMO, Monkfish are better. Fine, Shilo does give a bit more fishing experience, but I find it very boring, as you have to bank often. Monkfish are much more enjoyable, you make a great amount of money, and it's great, cheap, training food. What more do you want? :P Retired Tip.It Crew Mapper.
September 25, 200718 yr Author Well, my current goal is to achieve both 99 Fishing & Cooking, with cooking being secondary. Would it prove best to just fish at Shilo and purchase monks/lobs to cook later on, or would it be best to just catch monks and kill 2 birds with 1 stone basically?
September 25, 200718 yr I'd fish at Shilo for pure xp. The cook all the trout/salmon and sell these either in F2P or to the karamja general store with lvl1+ achievement gloves on for more cash. You probably won't get 99 cooking with that, so either go and fish sharks/lobs/monks and cook, or buy them with the money from trouts/salmons. If you want cash all the way, do monks all the way. Quite good fishing xp/h, good cooking and great training food which you can sell for a decent price as well. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
